After reading the team orion goes Li-Po thread... I was wondering, can this charger be fitted so that it could charge the Li-Po cells that all future rcs will be running?

As for the first 100 email reply thing.... put me down for the second one!

I think not sir...With distribution laws at hand..Erik has to use those channels to sell them. He has signed agreements. So I don't think he will have direct sales...
Although you might look at europe based websites that carry Spintec items and take a look at them every so often...
I have found a few things like that.......Not Spintec specificly but other manufacturers...
After the new year I am sure Horizon....Will be shipping them out to us Americans...LOL
-Shookie <><
Erik keep up the great work...The world of RC is waiting patiently...Then Trinity will copy accordingly...LOL

I completely agree with you on this Mr Shookie ! I think the distributors and dealers will be mad with Eric if he did any direct sales (The only thing they want Eric to do direct is warranty and problems cases !)

I believe Spintec will sent a few units out of this small batch to each region as opposed to sending the whole batch to just one country.

I'll just speak to my local Spintec distributor to gimme a tinker when he receive the ICC, then I'll go pick it up from one of his dealers !

....Superdragon...where are you ?

It called competition. If Spintech doesn't want competing products, then they should apply for complete US-Patent protection via their lawyer.

I have 2 Dyna Pulse dischargers. They're great. Thanks Spintech!

Nope...I'll return it to Trinity. I have the Dyna because of it's 4 cell capability.

I dont see the use of making it Lipoly compatible, the whole logic behind this charger is to charge nimh batteries assembled as ladder packs, by charging each cell individually.

I will make sure Spintec makes a special edition for yourself mr besercoe. Like I said it would be good to have the option.

First small batch is in and being tested. The problem is that we have so much work and not enough people to do it. One unit is currently at the photographer studio, so pictures will be on our website soon I hope. Furthermore there are all kinds of loose ends to fix, like manuals have to be editted and printed, packaging is still not in and so on. But we are getting there

Lipo compatibility will be no problem for charging on the external connection. First firmware version will not be compatible, but later version will be (free update through the website)!

Then you probably also think they should scrap the ability to charge a second pack outside of the individual cell section..and also scrap the motor run feature?

Personally, I think that (if it's easily incorporated) adding LiPo capability would be a huge plus, especially since this charge does have a second charging lead...being able to charge my transmitter packs while doing a premium job of charging my NiMH race packs would be fantastic.
