Default question about racing

one question. If you are bliping around the track and when you get to the straight away and you and you build up for wot if it bogs down is it still to rich??? If i make a couple high speed passes (back and forth on the straight) there is no bogging down but when i run the whole track just bliping the triger when i turn for the straight it has a hard time reaching top speed. does this mean i am my engine is too rich and getting loaded with fuel??? Still not going over 220 230. I need more zip in the straight away.

Sounds like it is rich, slowly lean it until this pretty much disappears.

Lean the low end a little, try 1/8th of a turn at a time.

Default glow plug

this can also be caused by the clow plug. change to glow plug and see if it makes a difference before you start messing around with the tune.

thanx for that advice. Last i checked the plug was still good. But it is the original plug that came with the engine. I probably should check it again.

Definitely switch it out.
I will switch mine out now every 1/2 gallon or so.
Had my original in for 1 1/3 gallons, made a big difference when I put a new one in.

lol!!! you were there?? Which one are you??? I think the stockings are a pretty good idea. I have extra filters and a new mugen neck on the way. But to be honest i like the one from xray better. Mugen redesigned that in thier upgrade kit which i did not get.

I know i am a terrible driver huh??? but i am getting better. When i get good enough i will race. I would also like a new servo for my throtle.

Ace DS1313, good for everything, and only $75.
Or you could always get a new high-voltage JR servo, OVERKILL X 10.
