I was thinking about running GT for the next race. Can i use my HPI X patterns or what is the tire to use for the series?

The new rules on the USVTA site allow any treaded tires, belted or non-belted.

For the Series, the Solaris tires are also legal

Yeah Carl like Mooby said yes you can use them I think I will be using X-patterns the next race myself. With the Solaris tires hard to locate and they are really not any faster I will stick with the HPI tires.

its starting to look like i will be there for the race and bringing a few with me. i will have atleast 2 sportsman so if anybody else has a sportsman driver please bring them with. cant wait till the 19th. 1st time in 3 years ill be on the rug. love it. little shocks small tires and no jumps.

what tries yous runnin now a days. i have some old new jaco blues. and if anybody has a set up for a old tc5r that would be great

What class are you going to run? GT or 17.5? I'm sure I can find a set of tires if you need them.

Matt...I would use a Keven H set-up from the AE website and start there it should get you in the ball park.

Crap... for some reason I thought the race was this Saturday and I just figure I was a week off...

I thought the same thing !! That weekend will be busy for me, point series @ Winthrop on Sat, point series @ Leisure on Sunday !!

I found my old rev 3 and all my 12th scale tires. Out fitted it with a lipo and now im runnin 12th scale too. Man i love this on road stuff
