Use the APP02 brake set, I've not yet had any brake fade with it, and can easily lock the wheels if I over adjust it.

Default Gearing

Hello.....my question is....I see the new RR is on sale already overseas. I heard someone say that for the bigger tracks the car is undergeared. Is this true. Also does the RR come with the .08 gears. Thanks

yes it is

The cars overal gearing can easily be changed, car comes as standard with 40T Diff rings, you can get these in 39T,38T,37T and also the Kawahara 0.8 45T,46T.
I have run my car at a track with the 45T and 26 pinion (27,28 available) where speeds are over 60mph, and it was still picking up speed.
Also does the RR come with the .08 gears. Thanks
Pinion gears - all the FW05 range comes with 0.8 gears.
Diff Rings - no. only the Kawahara is 0.8

Once again, it is very easy to overgear the car with the Kawahara centre conversion, lots of engine heat and no revs. For me 21-26 is more than enough gearing on a looooooong straight!

Anyone have problem with the throttle servos? there seem to be a lot of em' burning up at our track. The guys experiencing this are using sanwa radios.

Nimo, have you got that problem?

Whether it is digital or analogue it burns. I personally have not burn one yet (hope not anyway) and I was previously using a futaba radio with futaba servos. Just changed to a sanwa radio M8. Any advise is much appreciated
