Default no more uglyness

new WGT body? what new WGT body? As I'm in the process of building up a shiny new WGT chassis, I sure would like to have a body choice that works and yet is better looking than those ugly used bar of soap looking Sophias. Pleeeeese, where can one find pics of said new WGT body? I really don't want to put an ugly lid on my pretty new playtoy chassis.

Check out the new CRC#1763 - Team CRC Full Box Rear Pod Top Plate which should be available soon. Use it with another right side motor plate on the left side.

Both are pictured on the CRC website...www.teamcrc.com

Thanks mate. I have looked into it a big more and saw that is the 'new' thing to do.

Cheers, Chris.

Hey Bill,
Are you going to be at NorCal tomorrow?
I could use some mentoring...

My washers are 1.5mm thick. Others using this tuning option seem to be using something closer to 1.0mm.

I believe the LE kit still comes with a pair of red and a pair of white springs. Both 1/10th scale.

But, it you are using the LE on carpet, you will likely want to use CRC's 1/12th king pins and springs on the front end.

That's too bad,
I've been itching to get the WGT back on the track. I managed to turn a handful of 9.2's but the car gradually slowed to high 9's to low 10's after about 5 laps or so. I can't tell if it was power or grip that was slowing the car. Kinda hoping you might see what's happening. Temps seem normal.

unfortunately can't make it this weekend though.

If those lap times are dropping off while using a Tekin RS, you might be too agressive with your ESC settings.

Must also say that off-road is getting going full tilt at NorCal; so, the carpet track is already too dusty to do 9 second laps on. I expect the carpet will be covered with a tarp for the next 5-6 months to protect it until winter carpet racing returns.

We have our WGTs outdoors on NorCal's excellent asphalt track for the foreseeable future...LOL

And you know I will be there...more LOL

I think I will try washers under the rear ballstuds. How thick are the washers to use?
w.r.t. ackerman, When I look straight down, I don't have a lot at all. Because the arms also sweep up, it's a bit deceiving if you don't look straight down! Perhaps a bit more ackerman may help with my aggressive steering.
For tires, i've run quite a few combo's. Yesterday we were all running Exceed pink rear and purple fronts for most of the day. I've also got silver rears, green rears, Frewer purple fronts, and Frewer red fronts.
It is getting better I think, just not there yet.
how much droop are you running now? what spring are you running on your rear shock? what angle is the shock laying? what front springs are you running?

this is depending on alot of factors but running the 3 white caster shims all back will give your car more mid corner and exit steering

start at page 17... its always a great reference to use when tuning
