Those Gear Diff .... From NIP are they suppose to be tight?
They don't spin free or smooth like the ball diff.They felt like this is a notch or something inside .
what diff oil brands is everybody using ?

The gear diff screws which hold it together, are you not suppose to do them up tight? My gear diff binds when I do them up tight.

Did you take the internal gears apart? Make sure the shims are seated properly on the outdrive shaft.

I found that it helped to orient the case the same way it came apart when changing oil. If the case halves are 180 deg out, they get a little notchy. I've now marked the cases for future reference. Anyone else find the same?
