Trust me, we do not need to get Chuck Norris involve on this one.

Perfect timing to get a better spur gear from Robinson Racing in 48p or 32p. I find that adjusting the gear mesh on this car requires good eyes and feel. When you tighten down the locking cam, it can shift on you so you definitely need the piece of paper trick between the pinion and spur gear, hold it tight and crank on it. Spin it to get the feel for a "free" and unbinding movement. If it still binds after a dozen or so times of adjustment, hold the car by both end, lift up your knee and slam it against your knee as if you were mad. Gently toss it on top of your bed or the couch and come back to it later.
Trust me, we do not need to get Chuck Norris involve on this one.

Some people run the "upgrade" HPI servo's and like them. I prefer something better like a digital/core less Hitec or Savox. Both have been good to me. More torque and faster response. Unfortunately you'll likely have to mod the servo housing thingy on the Sport 3 because of its design.

Sorry, not the housing of the servo itself, but the little plastic bit that holds the receiver and servo. Not all servos have the same dimensions and will fit in the little housing thing that attaches to the chassis. If you get a different servo, chances are it'll be a different size, maybe only a millimeter or two, but you'll likely need to do some modifying to get it to fit in there right.

I have the Subaru version, and it didn't have a bumper brace. Do they come with a plastic one? Or is mine just missing it. Lol i changed the body and had to put longer posts on and there's no brace.

I didn't buy one as an RTR, I've been buying and putting mine together part by part, but yours should have definitely come with a plastic front bumper brace.

Hi guys new to the forums. US resident, Just got my RS4 BRZ on Wednesday. I have a couple friends that like their Yettis and Slashs, but I'm more of a car guy. Never had a 'big boy' rc car but am loving this one inspite of the issues i have picked out while skimming this thread. Only issue so far was a loose steering servo arm but other than that its smooth sailing. Not racing just drifting around on the bamboo floor at work lol
Has anyone found a working replacement for the HPI locked diff spool upgrade? Im ordering CVDs this week as well as steel tierod ends and wheels and tires and a battery but would love to lock that rear diff.
Following closely to this thread
Cheers guys
