I think 2.5 is correct, but I'd have to measure when I get the chance. When I have ran ceramic diff balls, I've needed to leave the diff rings a little rougher as the ceramics seem to slip a little more on the rings if they are too polished with fine sand paper.

My mistake. Sorry
HMX uses 2.5mm diff ball
I use Muchmore diff grease with 4 Diff Washers.
2.5mm corally diff ball

Does anyone use 2.4 chassi on asphalt
The hmx with 2.0 chassi twists alot

Rodrigo

Google, and than gearchart rc .. and then the upper link. so now you can see what pinion and spur size you need.
As I see it FDR3.5 can be made with 66/32. 32T Being the biggest Corally pinion. FDR would be 3.526875 that way. Can it be meshed the proper way on the HMX? If so I am going that way.
Haven't you raced FDR3.5 yet?

68/33 Is not an option imo because Corally has no long boss 33T pinion.

All of that knowing that I want to use 48Dp.

10SL racing has come to an end for you? I see you race HMX at the Dutch nationals as of this year.
I am still interested in pro10 racing but the number of drivers at the Dutch nationals is decreasing every year.
RC LeMans might be an option.

Hi,

FDR 3.52 also an option so you then can get those gears.. I haven't tried the normal pionions yet , so maybe someone can give an awnser to that.

Still have my 10sl. But this year I'm driving HMX. Maybe next year also some rounds with my 10SL again. Maybe indoor ...
