Well, us 1/10th Pan Car guys from SoCal are crazy (or is that dumb….we’ll decide later) enough to give your track a try because several of us want to try racing on carpet. We’ll be down with anywhere from 6to12 racers (plus a sedan or two as well) to race on 10/19.
Just to make sure, you guys have tables and AC power right? Also, is there any restriction on what kind of tire sauce we can use? I know some carpet tracks limit the sauce. And you still open at 5 with racing at 8?
We run 5-minute, 6-cell, ROAR stock rules w/ GTP bodies if you want to spread the word that we’ll be coming to any of your locals that have a car and might want to play with us.
See ya'll a week from Friday.....

Oh yeah we'll all be doing both. We don’t get to race more than once a week so this is a big bonus for us. Right now, we’ve got myself, Boomer, Richard Tompkins, Colin Crenshaw, Erik Rodriguez, Ron Core, and Jeff Medberry going with most of the rest of class at SoCal that we’ve been able to get in touch with thinking about it.
I’m bummed that Hobby Shack added the race at Camarillo on a Saturday (10/27). Otherwise, we would have all gone there as well if it was a Sunday.

Thanks a lot guys. There is no sauce limit, but please wipe tires before running your cars. Store hours on Friday open at 5pm, I ussually get to the shop early about 4:15 to 4:30, so just knock on the door if you see my silver quad at the end of the store lot.

Hey Mopar, had fun Fri! Just wondering if we can get some tape lines or something for the starting grids when you have a chance. Maybe starting way back on the straight away too. Some of the starts weren't pretty because of the jumbled up grid
Hopefully next time i'm out i'll have 4wheel drive instead of 3.

HEY MIKE
are you sure on what your f/d ratio was on fri? I calced the final on the tc3 recommended stock setup(6.42) and it is still way lower geared than what you said you had on your kyosho(6.09). mine was actually 6.78 instead of 6.10(the multiplier IS 2.5 not 2.25 on the tc3.) . anyways, it was nice racing a 3wd(never been up against one of those b4.) thanks again for your help at the track. maybe you can bring your 4wd sedan next time!
