Electric motor "Zapping"
Back in the day we used to zap electric motors to increase torque or RPM. I'm wondering how it would work with present brushed motors by either zapping the motor can or adding a small magnet to the side of the can to pick up RPM. In my mind this should work as long as you experimented with gearing to compensate for the change in the motors speed/torque.
Now, if this concept works, does anybody make a motor heat sync with a "built in magnet" to attach to the motor can ?? It seems this would still be legal since nothing was done to the motor itself.

Sounds interesting, maybe a rare earth magnet could be used. Stronger magnets will increase torque for sure, so you could gear a little faster.

As for the magnet thing, don't do it. It's cheating.
