Default LRP Pulsar 1 setting for Intellect Battery 3600, 3800 and 4200

Anyone know what's the best setting for IB3600, 3800 or 4200 on LRP Pulsar 1 charger.
Please share with me....

6-7 amps, 10mv cutoff...

my pulsar 2 is set at 6amps 55 or 50mv cut off

WOW... Thats a little high for the cutoff no? Are you talking about IB batts? of NiCDs? what do the peak temp at?

with 6 amp and 50mv cut off will it be too hot to touch for stickpack ?

I think 6-7 amp with 10mv is safer...

SMC battery recommend their IB3800 match with 6 amp 20-30mv but I don;t know which charger they (SMC) refer to.

What's the final maH read in the display for IB3600, 3800 or 4200 ?

I use IB3800's.. and they just get warm

I only charge the stickpack... standard cell.
No match side-by-side...

I'm using the Competition 2, but for my 3800's, I set my cut off between 30-35mv right now. The ambient temp is 50-60 degrees at the track. I will set it lower if the ambient temps are warmer or if my batteries peak above 125 degrees.

ambient temp for me is about 60-70 at my track...

HOw do you know the temperature of your batteries ? Does the Pul Comp 2 comes with the temp probe ? or do you use temp gun ?

No the LRP Pulsar2 does not come with a temp guage. I just picked up a DuraTrak one for $24.00. Check the temp on each cell, they will have different temps, and adjust your Delta Peak accordingly to your hottest cell. To lower the temp, lower the delta peak. To raise it, raise the delta peak mV.
