Well, I guess we all knew what was gonna happen when
the caution came out. I was SO mad I couldn't talk!

Good job to everybody racing this week-end!! I did want
to add that the 2nd generation of Banzai Nation also had
a good race!! Casper's daughter, Clara, finished 5th
in the Novice class!! Very proud of you, Clara!!!

I have promised Hase I will have Mod brushed motors
as long he wants them!! It's hard to teach an ole' dog
new tricks, he's been a racer for about 20yrs. BUT
as long as he's doing AWESOME with the brushed, I
think we'll just let him have his way!!!!

I actually wasnt watching the race. I had just got back from the dragstrip and bean calls me going off lol. I was like what?!

Steven Wallace would have probably taught him a pretty good lesson if given the chance, Friday night.

Hi Billy and B'ner!! I actually was watching it, it was
tramatic, but expected.

B'ner, I can think of a few "better" words than "tard",
but don't want to get banned from my own forum!!

If I can ever sort out my ESC in my 4wd, I'll let you know how my 12x2 brushed mod works.

Im waiting for my tax return to pick up a BL setup. Im super excited about the possibilities. Question, i read about the longer sensor wires, is that for more 2wd apps or would I need one for a 4wd app? Since the ESC and motor are close, I wonder if the communication is easier? Explain the purpose of the sensor wire?

It all depends on how you are able to mount the ESC in the car. Sometime you can get them close enough for the supplied sensor wire.

If you have a sensored motor there are little sensors in the end bell that keep track of where the rotar (part that spins) is at all times. Snesored motors tend to have more controllable bottom end.

The sensor wire is needed so the speed control can get the information from the sensors in the motor.

Sensorless BL motors do not need to run this wire but they can exhibit cogging (rapid start/stop) on occation and have the possiblity of getting confused and actually running backwards. (rare but possible.) Sensorless motor tend to have better top end.

The GT speedo gives you the best of both worlds. It starts off sensored to give you smooth controllable bottom end and then switches to sensorless for outstanding top end.

She did really well. Just got to get her out more. With OC/RC opening soon I should be able to get her to the track a little more!

Just a reminder guys! I am taking Pre-orders for the

10.5, 13.5 and 17.5 BL motors. All orders will be filled

first come, first served by the pre-orders.

Scott has now updated the web-site with the BL motors

and Speed Controls, so everyone besides the forums now

know we have them, and more coming.

I am pleased to say the pre-orders are going EXTREMELY

well !!! Thanks to all our Team drivers, and of course,

our great customers!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED

SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!

JBRL update. Talked with Jimmy who has been in touch with Don. Racing is on for Metro and they have recently redone the track. No club racing Friday or Sat but track will be open for practice until the sun goes down on Sat.

Also, how big is the ESC footprint? I am wondering how it will fit in my B4?

Anyone having any fitment issues? I've seen a few instances, but Im not even sure who all has AE products VS Losi and Kyosho. I don't see much from the AE folks.

Im excited about the possibilities of BL. and even if I have to wait for the BL motors, I'll rock the Brushed motors for now. We'll see how the tax return and kicker checks turn out.
