There's one at our home track who seems to quite well on low grip though I would imagine set up would be different due to the greater flex..
Also encounter one at a high grip track recently + it was a rocket..

I love the T2R-PRO. The flex in the Chassis is awsome for parking lot tracks. I said it before when others are practically driving on ice and having a drift race the T2R WILL dominate the race, even on carpert/rubber racing and high bite asphalt. I even put the cassis on my 008 for some added flex.

Phew, glad you got that right, lol. I pm'd Mr Alt some of my findings...
I'm about to make some changes for 10.5 now. Too much on power push.
Got the front roll centers in mind (lower). Its got a touch more exit power than the 17.5 .....

I call my Pro - a FLEX-RAY.

That would be how tight or loose the diff is screwed together.

It's a relative term... but yeah. If you hold both rear tires, and spin your spur gear with your thumb, it should spin forward with just a bit of force. If its really hard to spin it forward, it is too tight.

how I adjust my diff is by testing it on track. I'll tighen it until the back end doesn't kick out coming out of a turn.

Can anyone tell me where on the xray website i could download a manual for an xray 007 and 008 ?

Also anyone know if the 007 or 008 arms, front and rear hubs, c-hubs, knuckles fit the 009?

Hey,

All the parts off the T2 '008 will definitely fit the T2 '009. Only exception is the Chassis.

I think most of the plastic parts on the T2 '007 are different to the T2 '009.

Here is a link to the Instruction Manual of a T2 '009, which is the same as a T2 '008 basically. I'm not sure about the T2 '007 Instruction manual, but i'm pretty confident that there aren't too many parts off that car that will fit either the T2 '008 or T2 '009.

Hope this helps,

Ryan.

T2R here too. I stopped using my T2'008 i love it that much on low to med grip. I run it in 17.5 atm box stock with the 2.6 and 2.8 kit springs from an 008. Trying anti dive in the front at the moment and liking that. Car is a weapon and can drive under and over just about anything its just my driving lets it down . Im still fiddling with the ackerman and front toe settings to get it to turn in the way i like it at high speed as we have a very large high speed outdoor Nitro track.

I have tried the graphite upper decks and shock towers from the 008 to see how that went and it did not have enough flex and felt weird. Just using the top rear graphite flex plate is good and using the rear shock tower gets it to push a little in the rear which i found nice and consistent to drive but i ended up back with the stock parts to rebuild the 008 for a new high grip track that's coming

I wouldn't mind changing to some 6 degree caster blocks to see if i can get that bit more exit grip and speed and the Alu Quick roll center adjusters as all the local 009 drivers swear by them. Might try pro squat in the rear too and see how that goes. Any advice on the above changes would be appreciated. Cheers Benzaah

You must have a lucky 'freak'
I haven't come across a car with a spool that doesn't have chatter at full lock.
