i agree i really dont think he was running 1.3 cells. at the on road nats he was running 1.233 at 35amps. and i know this for a fact.

I would think the 1.25v packs were not matched at 35amps. I have seen Orion cells that are 1.25v, but they are matched at 30amps if I am correct. My best SHV cells come in at 1.231 at 35amps, 0.9v cutoff. However i always said that you can't realy compare numbers from different matchers, as they all have slightly different ideas and processes etc.

As much as I wish this were true... ...it is not. Everyone gets the same cells.

Our TM-4s are set at .90v with the full voltage runout. All the info is sent directly to Turbolabel to print the labels. That being said it's very easy to have the info sent into a PC and have the numbers manipulated.
One thing I find strange is that every company who claims they have a special system to match cells all seem to have better looking numbers. I would have allot more respect for a company who claims they have a better system but it would actually have lower numbers. The fact is that many racers are looking to buy the best looking numbers so companies will try and make the numbers look as good as possible and then if you ask them why the pack is off by 40 seconds and .12 in voltage they say that it's because it was matched using a different system.
