Intellect 4200SHV

1 Attachment(s)
Intellect has been tweaking the IB4200 and have come up with an improvement that will yield extra voltage and slightly lower IR. They decided to call this cell 4200SHV. We had the luxury of sending out these packs to our drivers at the LRP race last weekend and they were used by Adachi , Andreas Myrberg and Paul Lemieux in the top 10. Paul Lemieux reported that he used the same 2 packs for all the heats and mains and they ran real strong.

While the trend is to focus on capacity Intellect has a true grasp of what the RC racer needs from a cell as they focus on average voltage while keeping the IR as low as possible without it hurting the life expectancy of the cells.

Were currently matching our first lot of these cells and they should ship out to our distributors by the end of next week.

The specs were trying to provide will be 425+ , 1.22+ and 1.5-1.8 IR these specs are based on the sample cells we have matched up and may change depending on how the production lot turns out.

Nice :p

Well this is nice but a bunch of races this year are not allowing anything but 3800.

XMSRacing 05-05-2006 11:52 AM

I bet they will be legal by fall!

The IB4200 is legal in the rest of World and they will be legal at the IIC race in September.

US matchers have a great supply of IB3800s and the latest lots have been very good with the high end cells being 1.21+.

All I can say is that these cells are the fastest I have ever driven. And that is not only because SMC is in my signature.

So youve got 4 months of racing till Vegas. Run your IB3800's into the ground and be ready to buy those 4200s in September!!!

Somehow-I dont think too many racers will wait till Sept to buy 4200's!!

jeffb 05-05-2006 01:08 PM

Don't buy them now they will be better by Sept again!

4200 is legal else where? That sucks. It seems like the US racing needs to catch up. ;)

Only for the invite class at the RROC.

Grizzbob 05-05-2006 08:04 PM

I'm just glad they're coming out now, instead of in another couple of months, after I'll have picked up a new 1/12 scale(by the time I'm ready to buy batteries for it, should be easy enough to get 'em)....

CarlosG. 05-05-2006 08:13 PM

I would love to get some for my 12th scale, however our club race does not allow anything over 3800s. If their not legal to run by ROAR's rules, then it is just a waste for me to get them. :(
