Scotty, you should have my hotel info when you get to the track this week. I hope the Riviera is understanding with this and gives you the room credit. I am so ready to come race in LV again!!

Ultra thin bodies are not. Protoform Lightweight bodies as they are sold are OK to use.
Just to clarify that, for Rubber they are legal and not foam like last year. So Protoform and who ever makes a legal .025 body for rubber is ok.

LW .025 and .020 bodies for foam are not legal.

Hi Guys,

Yes I have received your email info about your bookings. Thanks very much.

CHICKY03: Yes you are correct. for Rubber the lightweights .25 are legal but not for Foam.
so basically nothing under .25 for rubber and nothing under .30 for foam.

Things are pretty much all set for Sunday night. I have received a ton of emails about the event so it looks like it is going to fill up fast.

If you have any question, please let me know.

Thanks
Scotty

As one of the greatest quotes in TV or Movie history says. From the 70's show
Hawaii 5 O.

"BOOKEM DANO!"

Thats right guys, Book your rooms. I had a great conversation with the top dogs at the Riviera and they will honor our bookings outside our block. but the stipulation is that I need all the info as I had requested before. So please email me all the info when you make your reservation. Email to [email protected]

But they also told me that they will be evaluating our situation this week and quite possibly adjusting our rate to fall inline with the current options out there.

So we will know more by Friday, and I will pass along any info to you as soon as I receive it.

Over the past couple of days, my mailbox has been flooded with guys booking their hotel rooms at the discounted rates. And many of them have only decided to join us recently now with this great option available to them.

What does this mean to you guys, It means be online Sunday night to sign up. I know last year we did not fill up to capacity, but with this change in things, it is looking like things are going to fill up fast.

Remember. Each class will have only a certain number of entries available. when this number is reached, you then go on the waiting list for a space to open in that class. It will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

More announcements coming soon.
Thanks again for everyone's support.

As we progress towards this years IIC. One thing that is apparently clear in the world of On Road racing is that 1/12th Scale is Back and it is the largest segment of On Road right now. This will only grow as the IIC grows closer.

With the big interest in 1/12th and with so many car manufactures out there making these cars, we have decided to do something at this years IIC that will add another exciting twist to the event.

Every 2 years the World Championships are held to determine the best 1/12th racer. But each year if it is outside on Asphalt there is always an Asterisk next to the race since tires are such an important part of the race. But on carpet, it is a neutral surface. It is the same for everyone. No extra practice for any team. No special tires and no home track advantage.

For this years 1/12th Modified Class, we will crown the
MANUFACTURES CHAMPIONSHIP. Who's Chassis is truly the best in the world.

How this will work. Each Chassis Manufactures will designate 2 of their drivers in this class to represent their team. Each driver will receive points to where they finish in their respective mains. The Manufactures who's drivers score the most points will be crowned the Manufactures Champion and can proudly say their chassis is the best in the world.

So who's car is the best.......

We will see at the 2009 IIC.

Make it a September to Remember.

Scotty,

Any chance of changing the signup until Monday. A lot of us will be at the track racing at 5pm PDT. I'd hate to miss signups because I'm on the drivers stand or corner marshalling.
