Hey guys, I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what you did to fix it besides replacing the chassis. After front end crashes on the buggy and truck the piece of plastic between the battery and servo bends and breaks. Now the battery is slamming into the servos and breaking the servo mouting arms. Thanks for any help.

You must have a very fast motor and a couple of evil stationary objects near by. What and how in the world are you hitting to break that.

My T4 stress cracked in that area after almost a year of serious use and I used gorilla glue on it, untill I replaced the chassis.

Just a thought if your not doing it already, buy the plastic chassis and not the composite. The plastic will flex a more and may be better.

The only other thing I can say is if you keep breaking the same thing over and over, and its not a common break that everyone else is experiancing, change your driving habits.

Also for under $10 you may want to invest in a RPM front bumper.

wow , so the battery is breaking that piece ? weve got 3 t4s and 3 b4s and race the piss outta um and the only time the chassis were changed is to go to plastic on a couple of them , large front bumper my be the answer , ray

curious, you are talking about the battery wall between the battery and servo correct?

By chance, does the wall look like its lower than other walls, basically not a uniform height with the other walls?

If I recall, the initial chassis had this issue and the walls were raised up to be uniform, as people would first notice hairline cracks, and then breakage.

hmmm, i dont recall the size of the wall. I run teh mini rpm front on teh buggy and the wide on the truck. I use the 5700 MM in the b4 and a novak 3.5 in the t4 and I run on a large nitro track and miss some of the big doubles and dive into the face of the landings sometimes...I may give it a rest for a while and get new plastic chassis for both...they are FT so I will try the plastic chassis, thanks for the help...

I have been racing the T4 for 2 years now....the only prob is the front arms and stationary objects! Once I converted to the RPM GT2 arms and bumper All my worries went out the window. Now its tough...I race indoors on carpet in the winter. So 50 degrees indoors not broke yet since the arm change. Worth its weight in money.....reminds me I have new T4 arms in stock that I dont need. No chassis problems either.

I had the same problem with mine...and the rear arms. I made the rpm rear arms for the gt2 fit the t4 and am loving it...i have many extra front arms for the truck that are just sitting around...

Perhaps your battery brace was not tight enough or you were not using the foam spacers? Your battery should not be moving in the vehicle.

Hmmm...just a thought because in the OP you said your battery was slamming into the servo and causing damage.

All I have to say is WOW... a 3.5?! Hopefully your batteries are old or just cheap because that's insane speed and not really practical for anything other than balistic missile speed runs on a perfectly flat parking lot!! Put it this way, I heard Cavalieri gave away a 4.5 because it was too fast and he didn't have any use for it. But I bet that 3.5 looks cool when you do get it to grip!! That's just AWESOME!!!!

The early B4's had a problem with the front bat box wall breaking the fix was raising the wall to the same height as the side walls, it was a factory fix. I have two of the "old" design Don't know if the T4 had this problem.
