Default Links being auto-created in posts and signatures

Hi. I assume you guys knw about the annoying new feature where links are being automatically created within posts and signatures throughout the site? The links most often don't have anything to do with the content being discussed and only add confusion if there is a technical discussion occurring. EG: My friend has a post discussing an adjustable motor mount for a TT01 and it's created a link to something completely unrelated on Amazon.

Is this fixable?

This is called "Adwords". It's another advertisement so you can view this site for free. IB uses these clicks and ads to get paid and help their stock price.

Don't like it? Find a better website....hint: You won't.

I once thought it'd be worth it to have a paid sponsorship, but then realized there were no benefits. I'd pay to have all this other crap disappear.

This is basically a large middle finger to the helping users with knowledge on this forum, as without them this forum is still interesting.....

OK, the links are created by VGlink. You have the choice to switch it off:

They should not be showing if you are logged in. I'll get that fixed.

I had to go to the viglink site and opt out. Very annoying. I thought I had Malware on my computer.
