How many did you order?

We ordered 6 and Horizon only shipped 2, then they adjusted the BO qty to 1.

Ouch, it still says in stock on their website. I would definitely try calling (try both extensions until you get an answer) and find out what's going on.

If Horizon shipped two, you ordered six, and the BO qty is 1, then you probably have three more on the way.

Nope, I just called them.. somehow the others were "lost" they added them back on to the B/O... too bad the B/O ship date is 8/20

Holy crap. That's why I waited until I got a tracking number before I posted in here where I ordered it from.

ATTENTION SNR CARBON HINGEPIN HOLDER users......

There's a pretty big design flaw with these holders. As the stock hingepins are cut for a 2mm steel holder, and the carbon holders are 4mm thick, this allows the hingepins to shift fore or aft 2mm. When the pin shifts all the way in either direction, there's hardly any material holding that end of the pin, and it can bust out of the carbon ruining your holders.

I can cut you a longer set of titanium hingepins that will eliminate this issue!! Same price as the normal Ti hingepins, or I can just cut you the inner hingepins for less. PM for ordering info.

Hey guys, from your experience, what are the most common things that break on the SCTE under race conditions?
I'm just getting into racing my SCTE, and I would like to know which spares I should keep on hand for race days.

Thanks.

Both bumpers and body mounts break easily. Bodies get trashed quickly, shock towers bend... that's about it so far. I have been hammering my shocktowers straight since the truck released, but I'm finally going machined.

Also going machined shock caps.

Thanks for info on the common breakages.

I have the upgraded Aluminum Shock Towers and Aluminum Shock Caps installed.

Are there any after market bumpers and body mounts that are alot stronger?

NO! if you can cancel the order for the aluminum towers do it now. They WILL bend on you. Get the carbon ones by Losi and you wont have any issues. Plus they are lighter. I would go with the Tbone bumpers front and rear. If you get the 10T rear bumber not the scte bumper you can lose some weight. Plus it looks better and seems more durable IMO

also watch your rear pin angles... I had two sets that were not at the stock angles. Both the original an replacement set did not line up. He offered refund but I forgot to mail them out... My fault.
