ive got a t4 and b4 and TRY to practice w/the buggy more, but for some reason i always end up back at my t4, if u can drive buggy good youll drive truck waaaaaay better in my opinion, the buggies arent as forgiving on a rough track like the t4 is either

I've heard that before. So I've now got a B3 and a B4 added to my collection. The 3 will be more for playing and practicing, and the 4 for racing only. Will be running modified. Hopefully it will make me a better driver for racing my GT.

Had the B3 out at my practice track today, and that thing flies, and turns on a dime compared to my GT!! Really can't believe how much fun it is to drive, and pretty tough too as it took some really hard spills.

yeah , amen on the buggy teaches you how to drive. I transfered all of my buggy skills to 4-wheel, and am now virtuallu unstoppable. It is awsome. I am working on getting another truck, cuz I traded my truck for a XXX4, and love em both....
I jus cant afford a BJ4 right now, so i will settle with a Losi...

i had lundsford hinge pins on the rear arms of my GT. i actually broke one (i dont think it was titanium) but they were wicked smooth. when i rebuild the suspension i put the pins in my drill press and put some polishing compound in a rag. the stock hinge pins came out about as smooth as the lundsfords without a polish :O i think its just the precision manufacturing and the high quality of the metal that really helps them stay nice and super smooth. i run all stock ones now, but sooner or later ill get a new set

I own both off road vehicles in the -3 and -4 series. You guys are right on them being more suceptible to rougher tracks. The only reason that I bought trucks was because the local track kept getting torn up by the monster trucks and 1/8th scale buggies. I was the only buggy on the track 90% of the time. Yet I was still top three! You guys might call me crazy but if you can try racing them (buggies or trucks) on carpet with foam tires. They are too much fun that way. If you need a setup let me know.

chasintrane-I found out about those gears. Mail me if you are still interested and I will shoot you the site where you can get some.
