either way if your motor is legal by the rules that ROAR has posted and backed by the USVTA, you should be fine. Safeway is to be within the motor min for each company, that way you are legal no matter what

If your home track doesn't have a meter, please check with me as soon as you arrive to the event.

I will check with EA to make sure either way as well

IF the manufactures were selling AS SUBMITTED and the motor has not been altered, it should not make any difference.

that is true, but some racers have the honor bug taking away from them as kids...and they are working to get it back

so as stated, check the list and see where your motor falls and we will let you know if it passes OUR tech or not.

Thank you

Yes that would be correct but we already know That they have been selling motors that don't meet the submitted motors. And for people that haven't had a motor checked they could be in for a surprise

"If", that is the word of the day.

I have 3 motors, all 3 are below the as submitted numbers. All 3 have passed tech at last fall/winters races. But all 3 will fail this weekend. I hope I'm wrong, but I think I won't be the only one in this predicament.

I would say I have been neutral about can-am format, but from my current point of view it would eliminate any concerns. You pay the entry, time off from work, travel expenses and in the end may not even be able to run. I guess I can only hope it works out.

I've been around dealing with these motors long enough that I'll use some common sense and my best judgement on the motors. It wont be a ROAR even with that tight of motor tech....but anything that is WAY under the ROAR number also wont pass especially if its something that is way below what the "normal" range is for that motor.

hope that makes sense. We just want everyone to happy with the tech and even happier with the racing and weekend!!

I'll say this, I trust both EA's ability and integrity in tech. If he says it's good, that's good enough for me.
