IS IT LEGAL????
I JUST PUT THE GT2 RPM ARMS ON MY T4 AND I AM BEING TOLD THAT THEY ARE NOT LEGAL. IS THIS TRUE?

As long as it is not wider.

yes as long as it doesn't change the track width of the rear end your ok. however with the lower end of the shock mounting changing from the t4 arms it is going to affect the rear and geometry alot and it don't see where it is any kind of performance gain at all for you. if anything you have hurt the handling by raising the lower shock mount position. since you have now changed the the triangle of the suspension.

The RPM GT2 arms will only fit the front of the T4.

the gt2 and t4 front arms are the same.

cain- i dont really know why they were saying its illegal. i honestly think they wer just jealous because i had emailed rcproseries and a gentleman name lester i think, says they are fine. but yeah, i personally like them and am just getting used to them. and on one of the forums they say you have to use the outer hinge pins for the gt2 with them but i ordered them but they sent the wrong ones so i just used the t4 ones and cut like 3, maybe 4 mm off them. and so far so good. the best thing is i wont have to worry about snapping them so easy now. awesome!! oh, and you have to use the bulkhead that comes with the set. and the spacer on the outer pins are NOT needed anymore. have fun! and rrrrip it up.

because RPM are known to be heavy duty, top of the line products. im not saying they make the car any faster, hell,probably makes it slower.jk i was just sick of bumping into somebody and snapping them. especially up here in MA where its cold in the track and things break easier. i think the LHS purposely keeps it 40 degrees or colder when they need to make money.lol

where you using the FT arms, meaning graphite? in severe cold they could be a bit more brittle, but the stock arms that are plastic only should be good for where you race, the rpm arms are so bendy that i feel they take alot away from the handling. you can get to much flex at some point. but with that much flex they won't break as often.

azbobby- you couldbe right because the handling kinda sucks and ive been adjusting it left and right. and yes i was using the plastic ones. its just i think the LHS keeps it freezing on the track so we do break parts so we have to buy them.lol.

hey cain, does boiling them soften them or what? and i agree with you about having beefier arms.

boiling them (the plastic ones) from what I have told will soften them a bit, so they give alittle more in a crash.
Since the RPM arms are softer, the steering will not be as direct, sort of like when going from plastic to graphite. On a tight track, that could be an issue. But, if you find you can't finish the race, doesn't matter much in the long run.
