They'll settle as you run them.

It's the car at running weight? Everything installed?

I looked and didnt see a specific answer.

What from my RB5 SP2 spares is worth keeping to use with the RB6?

Wrong shock ends (too short) will push the spring cup too high... and therefor, the spring too high.. (or you aren't at running weight)

I followed the Jason Dias setup. The distance between the ball end and the shock cartridge is 27.5mm, I've got the long ball ends on the rear shocks, and I'm at running weight. Odd

27mm is the length of the showing shock shaft. is that how you measured it?

(i just read your post again.. maybe you are describing the same thing?)
Ya were saying the same thing. I am using a caliper to measure the distance between the top of the shock end and the cartridge and I have 27.5mm. I can't get the ride height below 30mm when it is setup like this, and this is with everything installed. I even threw on an extra shorty pack and the lowest I can get it is 28mm......

I also have to add that I had heard what great quality the Kyosho stuff is, and I have to agree, but their quality control as far as packing the kit (at least mine) was terrible.

I opened bag #5 to build the shocks and I had exactly 1 (yes one) O-ring to build all four shocks with. I had to drive for about three hours all over So-Cal to track down all the proper O-rings to get them built. When I got home I realized their little plastic shock cartridge tightening tool was also missing. I went through every bag, dug through my entire build trash can, took everything off my hobby room floor just in case I dropped it and it mysteriously rolled (even though its not round) and it never turned up.

Needless to say I am not thrilled about how this kit has gone together, I hope I have a better experience driving it than building it.

lets see some pictures of the car... sounds like something is a miss. Did you buy truck springs instead of Buggy springs? Lets measure the length of the unloaded spring.

EDIT. Springs are 73mm

I wish my track was like your 'low to med' grip. You'd consider mine ice...

ANYONE??????? My battery slides back and forth . The instructions show no provisions to hold it for/aft. Running stick pack and MM. Thanks!
