Working on it. I've been relentless with the police. I called literally every two hours for the last two days until an investigator finally got ahold of me. I don't want to get into to much more right now.

I can tell you that I was very pleased by todays developements.

It says it "sold". This part of the ebay's seller's description is fuuny:

"Not sure whats in the box put seems to just be the chassis and components. Please refer to Team xray website or google it to make sure its what you want, there will be no returns. Got it from an ex-girlfriend and would love to just return it but you know how that goes."

Don't bring ex-girlfriends to the track. They'll steal stuff.

Oh yeah, just to give some respite for your soul, make sure to tell him to watch his cornhole when he is in the slammer. I think it is a kind gesture, yes?

Well, they're going to get this guy today.

Its amazing the amount of information that I was able to gather once I got this guys name in that first e-mail from craigs list. The investigator was impressed.

The gentleman who bought the car off of ebay was a huge help. He really deserves a lot of credit for his understanding and cooperation. He called me immediatly once he saw that it was stolen from us. The information he gave us was the final piece that the investigator needed.

I'll keep it posted on the final outcome once I get word.

Thanks!

I think you should give the Ebay buyer a discount on the kit because of his cooperation. Sometimes people would stay deathly silent and not even bother to answer anything or acknowledge anything. That is one darn honest person that helped out, this Ebay buyer.

I think the buyer should receive some sort of discount or something as well.
