Default Ice

I live in the tropics so never touched snow but can you get wheels for your rc cars that have little spikes on them ? It would be awsome ice racing also wouldn't it be real easy to drift ? Would not have any overheating probs.
On a serious note good samaritans are in short supply you are one of the good guys. I have been evacuated twice due to floods and it isn't fun having nowhere to go.

you could take some small pin tires and glue some thumb tacks to the inside to make spikes. Just be careful when you turn marshal the car!

I must have missed the invite. Ive been without power at work for 2 days and since noon monday at home. I finally just went to lawton and worked there today. I think my tree in the front yard is about the only one not slammed to the ground. Most of the streets in my hood are blocked with trees down lines and poles. Its weird listening to trees fall and transformers pop. Ive never seen this much ice either, its nuts.

Scott wants to know where's Al Gore and his global warming

now that we need him!

I'm a baby when it comes to cold and hot weather, but the

furnace is kicking on even here in SoCal!!

I have sad news, but it's also great news!

Our B'ner is going to another team, but he's NOT leaving

our family. He's going with our blessing. I can't tell you all

how much I'll miss him. But he will still come in here and talk

with us just like always! He's my redneck homeboy, and always

will be!!

The great news is this may lead to the fullfillment of a dream

of B'ners to work in the R/C industry in another capacity also.

And we want that for him too!

So, he's not really leaving us and I'm forcing him to take his

new Banzai hat and hoodie !!

Good luck, B'ner! And I'll see you in here tomorrow!!!

Mom, Scott, and Jason

B.James, it is sad for everyone that has been a regular

at SoCal. We have lost so many tracks around the country

this year that I have lost count. Even the new indoor track in

Las Vegas has closed, they really didn't stand a chance with

what happened there.

That leaves us with Hot Rod's and Pegasus for electric,

Revelation is a little too big for us. All of you in San Diego

need to support the racing program at Family Hobbies.

I wish I had the answer for all of the turmoil in R/C, but

I sure don't. Just know I miss M&M and the Ranch!!

Best of luck Beeaner. Its always promising to see a driver "graduate" to the next level. I think we would have been more sad if you went to say, BIRDMAN, but Orion is a good company. Maybe you could throw some motors Scotts way for re-working!

Judi,
Even here in the NW we have lost one of the more well-known out door track and hobby shop, though it was due to the property owner I think wants to . We still have an indoor offroad track as well as a couple indoor carpet tracks. One of which is a private venture by a few friends of mine. Its just a huge shop that they built. Very cool indeed.

With all the online deals and e-stores, it is Critical that you support your LHS.
