Default 1:10 Tyre Additive

for 1:10 Tc, Rubber, Mod, Asphalt racing :

I guess this is mostly for the Uk drivers running to BRCA regs.

could you tell me what tyre additive most of you run ! and why.
i run LRP stuff just now but would like to try something new as i feel it does not last very long into the race.

thanks.

Tire Tweak mixed with CS High Grip, 50/50. Let it sit for 30 minutes with warmers on at 45-50 degrees celcius.

Or Paragon if your track allows odor based additives.

Red Dot is more for foam tires. Trinity Death Grip works very well on rubber tires.

I have used red dot on rubber tire. Just let it sit for around 20-30 minutes.

Tires can get really tacky.

Trinity Tyre Tweak is also very good on rubber tires, but might be harder to find that Death Grip.

DIP is another very good traction compund for rubber. I beelive it is dist. by Schumacher.

Not sure on the exact name for DIP.

Yes, that is the correct part # for the Death Grip. They also sell it in a package with Death Grip and Cleaner, don't know the part # off the top of my head though.

Default Tires

Hi all,

I am having one important race in a big track with medium to low grip .
Air Temperature will be 21°C or 81°F.

Since any rubber tire/insert/rim combination is allowed and no limit for the number of tires used - is a total new situation for me , used to run TakeOff C27 limited to 2 sets per race (mandatory tire).

I will be thankfull for any advice base on experience about how to get the best of this conditions, like which tire/insert can be the best
and
If is wise to use one tire set for each run (4 qualifying and 3 finals).

By the way,

If is hot (above 27°C use Black Label LRP or TQ
if is between 23° and 27° air temp. use CS High Grip
if is bellow 23° use Jack the ripper blue color

thanks in advance

Pedro
