I have a different opnion, I think he put the weight to bring it up to the legal weight as per ROAR rules and since they have so cleverly designed the 710 as it is, the weight there also helps with the balance of the chassis.

To just put the weight there to balance the chassis is not advantageous enough ... you've seen Ray Wood's video ... the track is so rough (as well as high speed) that I think the 710 handles fine without being perfectly balanced. My 2 cents' worth.

Yep. Hard to make out the silver with the reflection from the rain. Unfortunately I believe he was disqualified from that event after dominating and winning the A Main.

All I am saying is real petty incident.

Well, car is built, BUT, this morning, two of my shocks was almost emty of oil. I can see under the car, that it has leaked out.

Any cure for this?

Have you got the rubber seal in the lower cap of the shock? And also make sure that the cap locked into position (i.e. you have to twist the cap clockwise to ensure that it is locked into position).

Hi S710 drivers!

On this weekend I have damaged my exhaust pipe from the side.
My budy has ran in to me from the side and it was my fault cause I hade a spin.
The pipe is squashed from the both sides. it is Nova Mega 2171.
Can I drive with pipe in this condition?
How can I repair that?
Has anybody done some protection around the pipe?
Any pics would be nice ...

I know some guys fill the exhaust with water, blocking one end, and then place it in the freezer - the expanding nature of water when it freezes pushes out the "dents". But keep a careful eye on the pipe in the freezer - don't just leave it there or else it may split.

I don't think you have to block the pipe 100%, just enough so the water doesn't run out before you put it in the freezer. And, like I mentioned, I believe you should leave one end open (i.e. the end which fits onto the manifold) otherwise the pressure is too high. Keep checking the pipe in the freezer often to ensure that it doesn't go too far.

If I'm not wrong that is the Mother Serpent from Pyramid - it looks like some kind of putty around the pipe and it will certainly be to strengthen the tail pipe.

Strange that it is so quiet here today normally there are a lot more users online and posting - is InitialD ill?

Maybe they all have a hard weekend behid them and need a few days of rest.
I hope that Pyramid will post what is this putty around the tail pipe.
Where the hell is InitialD i hope his allright.
Will post the pictures of my car and the repaired pipe if it sucseed.

Its a metal epoxy resin. The same type as standard 5-min epoxy (mix 2 parts together) but is metal filled.
