I have the RC8Be (the "OLD" one from wayyy back last year
) but AE never seemed to post setup sheets for it.
Would the new setup sheets that have been posted for this new 8.2 car work well for the previous car version?
I will be running on a high traction indoor track.
thanks.

OK. So I'm considering giving the RC8.2e a try. I had a RC8T back when they first came out and I loved the way it drove, but hated that it was way less durable than the xray truggy I had. Broke the thing constantly. My buddy had the original RC8 converted to electric and he constantly broke that as well. To a point that he ditched it becasue of durability also. It was mainly the plastic just didn't stand up like it does on other cars. It was just way to brittle.
I am currently running the MBx6 e buggy and really like it. But this new RC8.2 looks really nice. My questions is: Have they fixed most of the parts that broke on the original cars? The RC8B and now the RC8.2 is 2 generations of change so Im hoping they did. Also, has anyone driven the RC8.2e and the Mugen Eco buggy side by side that can lend any insight on how they compare for driving styles?

Im a big associated fan, and love the hell out of my SC10 2wd and 4x4, but the ebuggy is still a conversion from a nitro platform.
Mr. Jarosz,
If you want me to edit this, just PM me. Just want to share my opinion. I know you didn't make the decision on not making a dedicated 1/8 e platform so I hope your not offended by this

Few local guys got the nitro serpent when it came out and none of them kept it very long.

I have run this car into pylons and still trucks along. Sturdy, tunable, fast and leap in design. A++++++++ for AE on this one...(as well as their TC6.1

the tools that come with the kit are not suitable for building the kit
you need metric tools and a 5.5 nut driver ....be careful when you try to adjust the droop screws in the front....if you dont have a 2mm ball driver you could easily stripe the screws .....i drilled a hole in each upper front arm so i could easily access the droop screws worked pretty good ....and make sure and locktite any screws that are going into aluminum ...

any word on the new mount compared to the elite mount?
we know elite is the shit! how does AE's compare?
the ONLY complaint from elite mount is that the motor sat just a tad bit too high. I think the lower the better! just so motor doesn't slap the chassis!
