I have too much rear grip, especially off power. I've put on a harder rear roll bar, 14.5 rear spring, less front droop, more rear droop, moved rear shock out 1 hole, slightly stiffer rear shock oil, forward 1 hole ackermann. Goop the whole front tyre. Funny enough none of the changes made much difference, if any.
I do have 6 degree caster block on, only cos they were the only ones I have as spares at the time. Should I go back to 4's?
What would be my next step, regarding roll center changes or any other changes? I don't have the correct length turnbuckles for front link changes though....
lengthen rear camber link?
I'm bit dumb with car setup

oh yes sorry, forgot to mention I have reduced rear toe from the standard 4 degree arm mount shims to 3.5. Might need to reduce this even more.

no not yet, it's one of my next things to do also. Just need some track time
however there seems to be some conflicting opinions regarding rear wheelbase. According the tc6 manual, lengthening the rear wheelbase will decrease traction, which is what I want. However other car setups say lengthening the rear wheelbase will make the car more stable and promote rear grip.
But I will give it a go too. Thanks

Try 2mm rear and 1mm front wheelbase and make sure you have 2.5º rear toe. Or perhaps you want to give it a try: http://www.info-rc.net/wp-content/up...iorca_2011.pdf

I think you will find when you reduce rear toe it will free up the rear end. Then you will need to find the balance you like for on power. I fall back to Hebert's latest super stock high grip carpet setup for a baseline. Alot depends on how much grip in the track of course.

Glad you got your car working better. One thing that I didn't see mentioned was front camber. On carpet I could feel the difference between 1 degree and 1.5 degrees of front camber on turn in. I haven't tried it on carpet, but on asphalt, raising the rear roll center by raising the rear hinge pins really woke the car up for me.

Rick I have a question, did you or any other team drivers tried the new diff gear with only 2 satellite gears instead of 4, as used in the Serpent 411?
If so can you tell us what was the result?
I am a little surprise that only 2 are used in their car.(apparently for weight purpose)
Regards,
