I dont run a regulator because I have high voltage servos.
I will use the LIFE's in a pinch But you can really tell the difference between the two..

I'm not running HV servos so I don't have much to gain by switching to lipos right now. My nimh packs last an hour so I really don't need more runtime.
Or I could go to a stickman 2500mah nimh and run an hour and a half.

I couldn't tell the difference.
I think that if you run everything lightened, like race roller diffs, lightened spur, lightened outdrives and then do a couple of laps with the regular stuff, you might be able to tell some difference, but who has the time for all that?

I couldnt really tell any difference.
I did opt to go Heavy duty instead of light weight now and I can feel the engine (P5XLT) seems to like the HD running gear better and Gives me that little extra peice of mind..

Hey everyone. Looking to rebuild my truggy for next season. Trying to figure out what setup to go with refilling my diffs with fluid. Track conditions that I typically run are hard packed clay with a film of loose dirt on top. Any suggestions on what weights to run in front middle and rear to maximize on and of power steering and good traction? Thanks guys!

7-10-3 is pretty standard for the truggy.
