No but I am close friends with one their top team drivers. Why do you think the back plates are riveted? That is so the general public cannot see that the engines they buy are not like the ones that are winnning big races on the professional level. Do you think the team guys don't know what is done to the engines they get? They are hand lapped and modified for both increased power and extended run time. That's also another reason why you won't ever see a team engine last more than 3-4 gallons. They fire them up right out of the box and beat the crap out of them. I would guess we all would do the same if our engines were free.
I know you have enough knowledge and common sense to realize this Chris. From reading your posts for the last 4 years I can tell your not a rookie.

Just for the reccord, after the race when I leaned it out and got it running right (and switched back to Byrons fuel) it EASILY got 11+ minutes on the track, and I was pushing the car a lot more than in the main.

What the hell is all this fuss about? My clocked B5 has never fell shy of a 10 min pitstop anywhere. My 25XZ Neal did for me just did a 10 min race last weekend with fuel to spare on a slippery track, lol. What the hell? Let's do some racin' boys!

I agree. Seems like some have alot of extra time for this keyboard b.s..
Hey, don't take it wrong, I love my rc's and nitro engines. But if that's
all that's on a persons mind all the time. They should really get a life.
No need for some keyboard cowboys always getting into a pud pulling
contest on every thread.

On another note, some of the engine manufactures have been putting
their new line of 2012 engines through their test stages. Look for some
bad arsed engines to be released in a few months.

We'll just call the 1st 3-4 laps the learning curve, lol. Then he got hold of it! There's no holding this animal wide open around the track but it sure is sweet after you get used to it.

neal,

I ran the fire 11 rb today!!!

WOW!!!!!

I thought the clocked B5 impressed the heck out of me!!! I was wrong!!! This thing whipped my buggy around like a rag doll. I was only able to run a qt of fuel today, then i broke a part and my LHS didn't have the part.

I was running it with a m2c clutch with all 4-1.0's, 2058 werks pipe.

The bottom was very impressive no problem clearing the doubles comming out of the corners tight.
The top end was really insane!! It kept pulling and reving.

I wanna race a clocked b5 and see the difference.

No idea on fuel mileage, its still a fresh motor.

Think it will be easier or harder to control than the b5?

I am happy your liking it.... I figured it was going to be quite strong...going to be really interesting to see what its like in another gallon or so...once she's all loosened up and dialed to its full potential....it should be a real rocket.... really trick engine for the money.....

Awesome weekend down @ the Motodome for me. Fully Stacked A-main and managed to qualify directly in for truggy but had to play the bump game in buggy. Started 7th in the B and managed to take the top spot within a couple laps and fought with a Couple buddy's for the top bump spots, Both Broke out and I managed to put 3+ laps on the Field and Bumped up.
Good Race in buggy A and managed to work my way up to 2-3rd in the first couple corner's but as I knew would happen Slowly got picked off by the Big Dogs of MN.

4wd SC there wasn't much competition so Took the Tq and win and took 3rd in E buggy with a hard fought battle with Brandon A in 2nd.

Truggy was a Blast with the New Bonito, BY FAR my Most Favorite truggy engine to date, It just Does Everything you could possibly ask for. Got to Race with Mr Jeremy W and unfortunately he was quite a bit faster then Me but at the same time Mr Kendall W showed everyone what was Really up.

Thanks Again to Neal and John for the motor's.

PS boys, WOR races are on, dates to be set asap.
