I just picked up a used B4.1, and while I was rebuilding it I noticed the front shocks look really close to the shock tower. It has the aluminum shock mount on it, but it looks like the shock will rub on the tower - should I space it out or do you think the parts are wrong?

got to RC10.com, look at the manual, and see if it's built correctly

What effects does the extended chassis have on rear traction and tight corner handling?

At the indoor track where I am racing, the track is fairly slick and rear traction is a premium....

makes it more stable, not twitchy and jumps/ lands better it doesnt steer as much but that can be taken back with some setup changes, if its small and tight stick with the short but i guess you could try a long...i like the small chassis also right now but i am waiting to order the 8mm

Longer is better for med to high traction conditions...

The Worlds was run on a track considered "slick" by US standards, and won with a +8 chassis....

My track is slick in comparison to what you guys on the west coast have and the +8 is much better.

You fail to change the fact the standard chassis has more traction...

That's because the ST class isn't that popular anymore.

The T-4 needs a lot of help , nobody been running it because of its not very competitive against the newer designs ....

i thought the t4.1 was a great truck? i wanted to buy actually since guys at the track to open soon are pushing for it..
