Depending how I like the nova in buggy, I may have to pick up a clocked b6 pro next year!

You totally should

Hey Neal, Any idea when or if your gonna get the new argus motor, and start testing it.

The a52 you sent me is the truth.
I was just gonna hit you up for another one for my buggy, but I see they have (2) new argus motors out.

Default Clocked B2

Neal I just saw that you're offering a Clocked B2 now. Sweet!

What can you tell us about it? Is is good for a buggy?

From what I ran it is was really strong....my mods have increased the power across the existing power range, and gave the engine a real boost on the top end... I Am actually looking for a couple of guys who maybe want to test out the mod B2...PM me if anyone is interested...

Unfortunately it was not a good day to shoot video.....The weather conditions were just too severe for me to be able to really fine tune the engine good enough to warrant a video...Plus with the wind you wouldn't have heard much of the engine anyways. The engine was still very tight and I was not comfortable really squeezing on her in the cold...The weather was cold with a temp of 41F (5c) with winds gusting to 40 MPH and a humidity of 60% .... definitely not ideal to be pushing a new engine to the limits..... What I can say is the engine ran very good and showed very strong power considering the conditions and tune...I can tell it is going to have one hell of a top end on it, and showed promises of a very stout bottom end on the 2013..and a ripping mid/top end on the 2058...But the needles were still very rich with a big idle gap so the bottom end was not "crispy" so to speak... I ran it in my Mugen 6T running 3.8 Badlands on short grass, so traction was 100% ...It yanked the truggy with authority, even with the less then crispy bottom end tune...

I would have liked to see some pics of the Fire 11 sleeve.
Seems there is a descripancy about the exhaust port
configuration of these engines. The sleeves part number
is listed as being the same as the Rally 11. It is
described as being a single port exhaust. But you said
that the Fire 11 engines that you just modded had the
3 MES style exhaust port configuration.
Oh well, I guess I'll have to order one and pull it apart
to see for myself. ..........j/k ........

Will the low-end and mid-range of the Clocked B5, or B5 Pro, be greater when compared to the low and mid of the Clocked B6? I'm looking for something with good low, great mid, and good top-end which will be manageable in a buggy.

Thanks

From my experiences the B5 has much more low-mid power than the B6, but has to be clutched correctly and coupled with a heavier flywheel to get it manageable in a buggy. Once you find that right set up though it's really hard to want any other engine

I am curious how you know this. I have seen a few Team drivers engines and the backplates cannot even be removed. Do you have xray vision??
