watsup gentlemen, I noticed the pinion had begun to eat the hot racing spur i had on there. so today i was about to put a new spur on and decided to give it a slow rotation while looking directly from the rear view. I noticed the spur wobbling in an obvious manner. My first guess would be a bent top shaft as the motor plate is completely flat. there was also a bent piece of hardware (one of the screws going through the top of the gearbox screwing into the motorplate). Maybe somthing shifted when i was jumping at the skate park? either way i will put the top shaft in a drill tommorow when my household is not asleep
. What do you guys think???>

Gearing 81/22 using LRP SXX TC Ver.2 with X12 8.5T. Profiles setup per manual. Like I said on one of the first responses, it sounds like it's slipping but the wheels won't come off the table and the motor is not bogging down. Not sure what else it could be.
I already had tore everything down and didn't find anything.

Haha indeed sir 420 anger managment and a steady hand for all these tiny parts. New top shaft on the way and NoMore SKATEPARK for me as muh fun as tabletops and quarter pipes are, still not worth the parts. Activley seeking a dirt bmx spot here in Jersey that isnt teaming with tiny children bikes haha. Thanks for the quick reply

I usualy roll with the gear cover at all times except when adjusting slipper on pavement. I did have it on this time however this is my theory. I had th green springs in the rear and had not servived my shocks in a week with many runs in between. So the rear and would hit the pavement from the smallest hieght and that impact must have shifted the gearbo, explaining the bent hardware and bent shaft. NOW, if i jump silly i use gold or the spring below that. I have since then went to FT shocks with a T.S.R shock upgrade and man what. Difference.
Gear cover at all times for me. Also helpz avoid rocks and debris in your gears i would think as well. Later

A Main Hobbies is shipping the new 8+mm AE chassis since they now have them in stock as of today 10/20. I also am waiting for my Team B4.1 kit to be delivered by Monday. Question......Will all the Team parts build up this new chassis as usual?
I got the kit 8mm package which includes the carbon battery strap.
After I got this sucker built, all I need to do is shop for electronics. Any opinions on mid-priced motor/ESC combos that are fast, won't overheat, and be decent quality?
I want to get this ready to run in modified B4.1 buggy.

ESC you can't go wrong with LRP or Tekin, and pick up a Trinity motor, Duo or Revtech.

I've had good luck with Castle stuff (three different ESC in three different cars) and its just a titch cheaper than Tekin and LRP. Haven't needed to work with their customer service but I have heard its top notch.

Some pics of my ride...
On a side note the blue speaker wire we discussed a month or so ago, is working fine and looking awsome...
Sure wish I could drive half as well as the buggy looks
