Nice meeting with you at the trak. Did have a long talk with 303Slowdown on the way back to Fort Fun this afternoon.

Should have an F1 car to play with on the track in a week or so.

You Know ...... Old School!!

Cool, glad to hear that you got in touch with Ryan. Nice talking to you too. It is nice to put a name with a face ( As I have heard your name before (all good things )). Hope to see you more at the track racing F1. I plan on getting one after IIC.

RACE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to getting some racing in today. I received my new chassis yesterday and rebuilt the car with the new chassis and made a few runs. It seems to be "ok" but had a slight issue with right turns. Seems like the car wanted to loop out a little bit (more than before the rebuild). I backed out some camber(from 1 to .5) on the outside tire of the car and that seemed to help. I also think there is something going on with the rear end of the car. The side links are not as free as they were in the other chassis. I am not sure how to fix this as I thought I remembered how Mario fixed it by resetting the pivot ball but it doesn't seem to work when I do it lol. Is there anyway that I could get some assistance with this? I think getting the side links to be a little more free might help with the loop out issue that I have been able to control somewhat with the camber adjustment.

Also it seems all the practice I have been doing has ran my front tires down to plastic. I am in need of some new fronts. Would someone be willing tonight to show me how to cut my own tires. I am going to need these before the heats tonight as I am not sure I can run another round with the tires I have on it. I tried to learn the other day but Mario didn't want a newb working on his machine . It is understandable. Well, see you all at the track. Looking forward to seeing the F1 guys there.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Adam- congrats. Like I said, nice knowing you.

Jeremy- you need to have the chassis pressed down on a flat surface to reset your football.

When you put new tires on you may not like the car as it will have toooonnnnssss of steering unless you cut them fairly small. So don't get discouraged, run less dope or none to make the car drivable but leave the setup alone.

Check your tweak on the looping one way problem.

Congrads Adam, when you feel comfortable leaving the house you'll have to bring your new racing buddy the track.

I hope you enjoyed sleeping through the night as it will not be happening for the next year or so

Thanks Mario (I thought I was on a flat surface. I will recheck with the tires off and on my setup board) and Brent for the suggestions/info.

I checked tweak before I ran the car. I will check again and see if maybe I missed something.

When you say to leave the setup alone after putting new tires on is this just because I just need to drive more or is it that I found a good setup and just need to wait until my tires are down to a reasonable level? I understand that adding more tire in the front will add steering but if I remember I setup this current setup with about the same size of tire that I will be cutting the new tires to. I remember people saying the setup is always changing to meet how the track is for that day and to add/take way items to make the car better for the driver.

That is a problem of mine. I over analyze everything. lol Just trying to learn and make sure I understand what people are saying so I don't add 4 degrees of camber again.
