You have me beat. I have 4" in Y, and around 8.5" in X. I machined a 12th scale body plug for a friend,,, I had to do it in four pieces at around 10 hours per piece.

Got second in the A main first time out. Paint was barely dry on the body, mostly box stock setup.

I twice however had an issue with the belt in just two qualifiers and a main. The belt appears to be getting stuck primarily in the front, between the tension and gear. Any fix for this? Tighten it up another spot?

Overall, probably the vehicle that has best fit my driving style to date, very impressed with a little setup work.

Add tension to the front pulley and relieve a notch on the rear... That should help.

I had my front pulleyt skipping under hard braking, and doing that not only removed the skipping, but gave more bite to the front drivetrain (it was skipping aswell on throttle floorings)

I had that happen. It was due to the slipper being too loose.

Then go buy yourself a new spur, then pay closer attention to how tight your slipper is. It melted because it was too loose.

If belt is skipping it's either too much brake %, front tenshioner too loose on belt or belt is already stretched.

It seemed like when I put the tensioners all the way down , it made the problem worse.

guess I'll change the belt . (again)

Wait, don't. Yet.

Check the pulleys for wear.

It is odd how some are having belt issues while others are not
I have been running mine for three months and have never had my belt come off. And trust me when I say I crash, and crash hard on multiple tracks with big jumps.
