Ok hears something else, i did back it out slightly but ends up being too much the flywheel just spins nothing else. Is there suppose to be any shims internal on the crank or not. When i put a shim inside on the crank between the front bearings then everything is fine except i cant get the backplate to go on all the way now it smashes into the crank, so im lost right now??

do u have that copper collet behing the flywheel? if u do then coo, if not, then thats might be the problem...

Let start from the beginning... take everything off the front of ur motor, clutch bell, clutch shoes, flywheel, everythinig..... then glow plug too.. now turn the crank shaft and see if it turns freely. if it does, then thats a good sign, if not then something is wrong. Now to put everything back in these steps. 1st. copper collet all the way to front bearing. 2nd. flywheel, 3rd. flywheel nut, just snug enough, then try to spin the flywheel and see if it moves freely. Remember Dont put the glow plug back in yet.

Ok i did all of that, the real problem is when i even begin to snug the nut to the flywheel i get resistance. Not even tight just snug. Right now it feels like when i tighten the nut its pulling the crank into the rear bearings and thats why it wont spin free. Originally i thought it was the front bearings but now im pretty sure its the rear???

hhmmmm.... It could be, does the crank shaft move freely when u pull on it? try to take off the back plate and expose the inside of the engine and try to bolt on the flywheel and see if the crankshaft moves at all... it might be ur rear bearing.

The crank spins freely when the flywheel isnt on or not tight. Heres what worked for me or i thought. I put shim on the crank inside the motor between the front bearings. This works great except i cant get the backplate on before it smashes into crank now. The bearings themselves are fine. I put a gallon through the motor. I dont know. I dont think if i get new bearings it will change anything?

Default Ha, who knew!!!

Basically im an moron. So i come to find out the my front bearings werent in all the way and when i say that i mean less than a hair, when i put them in the first time i didnt think they could go in any farther, i smashed on them hard and i still dont know how I managed to move them any farther this time, just the slighted bit but it was enough, so everything is fine now.
