Quick question about the V2 schocks: I just received a set from a parted out kit and they guy forgot to include the spacers for between the o-rings. Are these the same thickness as the old ones? If not, how thick are they supposed to be? Thanks!!!

Just use the old white plastic ones. Some people prefer those and Kyosho Grooved O rings to prevent leaking. I believe it's been said that the new black spacers are too thick and compress the o rings and cause leakage.

It's how I've built all of my v2 shocks and I can tell you that none of my shocks have ever leaked.

I've got the McMaster Carr x rings in my V1 shocks on my B4 and in my V2 shocks on my kids SC10 and they work like a charm. Dirt cheap too. Can't feel the stiction that some folks have talked about but maybe I just lubed up better.

I run the same rings. I noticed some stiction after lubing up throughly. I'm going to try running one X ring on the outside and one AE ring on the inside.

i think it was wild cherry who posted about using 0 degree hubs and putting no washers under the stud, thanks! It works really well and very easy to drive, i did add the plastic arm brace which idk if i gained some steering but around 180 turns my car hugged them like a magnet!!
