I had to turn carb a little to get slide ball link to not hit center diff mount and my servo don't pull throttle link straight at full throttle it's at a little angle. I am afraid it will damage slide barrel over time is this something I need to worry about or should it be alright seems to bind very little at WOT. I have tried different angles and spinning ball link on carb and still pulls straight until WOT then get it's at a angle due to servo rotation. Thanks for any fixes or help!

nitrotec is pretty much a race version of a nova 3 port , it has much better more durable parts , better carb , front bearing and crank intake timings as well as a team piston , too bad they are discontinued

I really like the way this motor is turning out after 1 gallon it holds tune and runs 10 min on one tank also idles forever but I can't seem to smooth idle out all the way has a little pulse. Like I said I can deal with that I think it needs sealing around carb neck and pinch bolt. Anyway I am trying to figure out when is the right time to pull shim like it says in manual or just keep on running it? I don't understand why this motor didn't sell better it runs as good or better than any of the Werks standard B5/B6 motors and lasts longer for sure I got mine for $200 with coupon great deal! When are other owners removing the small shim from head on their R21? Thanks AGAIN!

I guess I got older version because my manual says to remove small shim after it's completely broke-in. I will probably wait until 2 gallon mark to remove though so it's all the way broke-in. I noticed head has flat head screws like the back plate how hard is it loosen? I need to get a really good screwdriver so I don't strip screws I guess. Thanks again for help/info xxxntwv and anymore tips for R21 would be great!

I have a race this weekend but I have a stripped hole on the motor mount base it's a Losi quick change mount. Is there a way I can rig it up until next week when my new Kings Head mount comes in or should I be OK with 3 screws in top block to base? I do have 4 in crankcase to top block . Thanks AGAIN!
