Ok, just an update on by Clocked B5 Pro.

First off, PHENOMENAL ENGINE! I could not be more pleased neal!

Just finished it's fourth gallon and still running strong. I have been running the OS VZB VSPEC carb, and I prefer it over the werks carb immensly. Maybe it's just me, but it responds very well to inputs and is easy to tune. Second, this engine's powerband is simply awesome. It is smooth, has bottom end grunt, mid, top, etc, it's sweet! I have no doubts that it is the most poweful and fastest motor at the track! I honestly can pass people on the straight with 1/2-3/4 throttle. It's a shame to run it on a tight track because you can't open it up all the way (it still does great).

TLR's Matt Chambers has been pitting for me and he is thoroughly impressed with it, and agrees that it runs much better than the non-clocked werks!

Today was the 2nd day of the Colorado State Champs and we finished qualifying. I qualified third, by 1 second to second place and 2 seconds to first place. It should have easily TQd, but a bad glow plug and some slippery tires caused me to miss it. I took some videos of practice and I'll post a video of the main!

I really wouldn't let you live that one down. j/k

On the serious side though. I have an update on the Clocked RB C6.
I found that it not only is it a tire ballooning, wheely poppin, highest
revving truggy engines that I've owned. It also gets remarkable
run times. On my DM-1 Pro, it also proved to be, "One Mean Son of ah...".
Weather permiting, it will also get some time on the big dirt oval next
weekend. I like this Clocked C6 so much, I'm going to have Neal mod
another one for me.
I am soo happy to hear you like that C6..... I myself really like those engines....Back on 2008 we ran one at the Winter nationals and it was amazing...12 minutes runtime in buggy and enough RPM that it sounded like a siren down the straight.....

here is your crank !

I am soo happy to hear your liking the B5, yours has the special high altitude button if i remeber correctly... The mod B5's are some of the nicest running engines I have ever encountered...amazing runtimes and ballistic top ends......

YEA MAN ! That one belongs to me. I'm going to have to make a
clear backplate for the engine and intsall an on-board camera on
the car. That way we can get a look a the crank when I push it
up into the 50,000 r.p.m. range.
I should be shipping the other C6 out to you by the end of the week.
I've been slowly thinning out most of the sub-culture engines that I own.
I will hold onto a couple of the, cream of the crop, econo-engines.
The next engines to be added to my arsenal will probably be,
1) CRE modded Novarossi Bonito
2) CRE modded O.S. Speed Tuned XZ-R (on-road)

I know that modding the Speed Tuned O.S. XZ-R may be over-kill, but I've
been waiting for this engine to hit the states for distribution a long
while now. So, when I get my hands on one I may as well take the
time to have Neal put the CRE touch to it.

Maybe then I will finially have enough CRE bonus points to cash them
in for some personalized CRE stickers and paint masks.

Yep! All of the Werks nay sayers have pretty much shut up now.

I was able to get an easy win in the Open Truggy Amain today at the state champs, pretty good for my first year of racing! Engine ran great, awesome power and long runtimes. Came off after 35 minutes at 220.

It was a bit of a rough race though. I probably could have gone down to 2 .95 springs in the m2c clutch, or added some weights. The first 10 minutes my gear was dialed, but then it seemed to start losing A LOT of rear traction. The rear end wanted to slide out every corner. It could have been from a number of things, hard city blocks, too much rear break, and the track was seriously blown out. I'll get a video of the main sometime this week. You can check Red RC later, it should have a picture of the three losi amain winners up.

You can really see how much top end it has on the straight, especially considering I don't even use full throttle and it's still has some serious RPMs. The best part is you can always tell which engine is the werks from the sound of the 2013 pipe. It has a very distinct sound. I think my gaskets may need replacing too, because it seems like it may of had a small air leak.

I'm like the engine so much I may have to sell my e buggy and pick of the b6 pro! (Clocked, of course)

love this Werks Pro clocked B5!!! Put it the associated RC8B buggy!!! WOW!! That thing was FAST!!!! The Mileage Was insane. When i had it in my truggy mbx6t with werks 30% fuel i was getting avg. 11mins, now i switched to sidewinder strike team 30% and today i was getting 13.45mins!!!! That is awesome fuel mileage. I was using the M2C variable weight clutch with 2058werks pipe.

I was battling with os speeds, and xz and a modded argus today. They had nothing on me.

The werks was dialed!!!

I know, but it was really smooth. I put the .95 springs and all the screws and it was really smooth then the top was flying.

I put 7 gallons on my Clocked B5 in a buggy. With the M2C variable flywheel and some soft springs and negative Expo on the throttle servo it's one hell of an engine. It does take a bit to learn how to handle the power but once you do it's a great buggy engine. One of the best engines in terms of run times also. I just had mine "Renewed" and I have about 6 tanks through it now and I'm gonna be running it in my Agama buggy for the next few months. Just remember to use a rear tire with a little more bite and hold on.
