Are you still on the brakes when it starts to push? The 4.1 honestly turns REALLY well off power/under braking. If you're releasing the brakes and letting the car roll through the rest of the turn that could be your issue. Your one of the very few people I've heard say they have an off power steering issue.
Honestly the easiest way to know if it's you or the car is to have one or more local fast guys drive your car and see what they say. I've been racing forever but when I first started 2wd buggy I just couldn't get it to work. I had to suck it up and ask the guys faster than me to drive my car. While it was nice to hear that my set-up was really good it meant I had to change my driving style, not the car. After doing so and driving a few different cars only now can I say that the 4.1 turns better than most on the market, which is what many people think.

Does anyone know if big bores will fit on a t4.1, I just dont know if they will clear the turnbuckles during steering. Thanks.

75mm is the distance between the holes on the new towers or the old tower?

No, I usually am not on the brakes. Some of the corners at my track are too slow for you to take the entire corner with brakes. I would just come to a stop.

I am assuming I should be looking at my front camber links. Is that correct? If so what adjustments should I try?

What gauge wire do you guys use to connect from your esc's to your motors?

TQ Racing 13 gauge.

Anything RC product that's 12gauge should be more than enough. Pick your brand, darn near everyone has something.

Finally had a nice solid run with the B4.1 extended chassis, I really struggled with it the first time out, so bad I was close to throwing the towel in. Anyways I was using cavs worlds set but I had installed Kyosho big bores with yellow springs in the rear and pink in front. Starting the day out the car was not bad but I decided to throw the v2s (std cav setup)green rear/brown front back on to see how it felt and it was much much better! I really think its a matter of finding out the right springs for the big bores and they should be good as well. Ended up taking TQ, led some of the main, came home second, car was real nice and stable.

I've got 14g from esc to motor right now. Had 12 but needed to re-wire and had 14 so I used it. Haven't noticed any negative results from it.

try shortening the front camber links. Really need more details about your setup though.

I was wondering if some of you guys could tell me how much more maintenance there is from 13.5 to 8.5. I don't have much wear and tear do to lots of power just running 13.5 w/ no timing. So anyone who has made the switch please help me decide if it is worth it, i practice a good amount and don't want to have to wrench more then I drive. Thanks!

Practicing a whole lot, week after week wears the car , not the motor as both are very close when considering wear & tear.....

Thanks for the info cherry, I was told by two different people two complete different things. One said stock wore out faster, don't know how, and one said the power of his 8.5 wore things a ton faster.... so i just don't know what to think...

We can debate for pages how much more or less the motors affect the wear & tear ...

Rather not .....

Important to just say wear is not so much more with the mod . Rather its the miles how many packs you burn a week ...
