So I finally got my truck to do wheelies, was able to tighten the stock pads down where there's zero movement on the spur gear. Put on some suburbs 2.0 on the rear on a stretch of carpet...weeeeee.

However, when I try to hold down the rear tires and gun it the front still can't get all the way off the floor, I'm thinking there's still some slipping.

Going to get a new rear shaft, believe the problem is with my older shaft where the shoulder is not far in enough...

Why are you trying to do wheelies?

so i finally finished the build, put in the novak system with the havoc proc sc and 4.5 and i got nothing. I think it might have got a bad motor or sensor. steering works but no throttle. I am just so frustrated at this point. I don't know what to check next. I have checked everthing I can think of. I have an email in to Novak right no but have not heard back yet.

A few washers between the plate and the spring negate that problem.

Not saying it will let you do standing back flips...but you will at least be able to tighten the spring down 100% without bottoming out on the threads/beveled shoulder of the shaft.

That sucks, I've never ran novak setups but if their like castle or tekin the esc will give you error codes...... Does the novak's have that if so check to see what the error is.......

I hope to have my sc10 4x4 dialed in by this weekend or no later then next weekend.......Just waiting on the front/rear swaybar's, spring kit, and a few other goodies...........

Gonna try 7k front diff, 5k rear, 35w front shocks and 25w rear......

Probably gonna try the 2mm bars in front and rear, and mess around with the springs (white rear, yellow front) to see what I like........Tighten the slipper just a little bit from flush.......

Anyone have any other tips like ride height, camber etc I should try out? Thanks

Did you calibrate the ESC to your radio? I know one of my ESCs (I think the RX8) won't give you anything if it turns on and thinks it's getting anything other than neutral throttle...

For my truck and track, -2 degrees of camber, with about 1 degree of Toe Out works well...

Our track has some hardcore 8th scale jumps so us SC guys need to run a little higher ride height to avoid bottoming out before we get to the top of the jump...30-32mm ride height seems to work well.

Thanks I'll try that setup for the local outdoor 1/8th track I run at....... I think I'll go a little lower at the indoor 1/10th track though, but the camber/toe seems good for both tracks....

I read the forum a couple pages back about the rear wheel pin being off causing some binding. I checked mine and its in good but still having binding issues on the right rear, when I tighten it all the way it doesn't spin free. the other thing I noticed is there is some play side to side on the cv shaft at the hub. Maybe its a spacer issue or the crush tube is worn. It is a pretty new truck but I've seen crazier things before.

Other than that I got my clutch basket in and installed yesturday and started flush and it was good, tightened it down so one and a half threads are showing and with a 6.5 hacker on a LRP it will do a standing wheelie lol. Not good for racing but it was cool.
