that looks like WAY too much weight if your tryin to get l/r balance correct, looks like the left side would be wayy heavy. when i corner balanced mine, i only needed 1.5oz (6 squares) on the front left and the corner balancing (cross weighting) was perfect. as for the overall f/r balance, i have no idea what is ideal, but my truck handles great, so i cant complain.

So to be 100% certain, I'm going to go with Airtronics MT4 and a Savox servo. Any well known issue with running that combo with RX8/SC4X?
did u mention what tx it is? my two friends had similar problems. one had a dx3e, and the other had a dx3r.

with the dx3e, it wouldn't allow a castle 3800 sct system to calibrate, and it when it did it would loose the "neutral" position and reset itself.

with the dx3r, it had the same servo and motor glitching you are talking about, and no matter how many different servos or receivers he tried, nothing worked.

both radios had a bad board in the tx. it was what the tx used to find the "neutral" setting. spektrum replaced both of them with new radios. they were even nice enough to upgrade my friends dx3e to a dx3s.

I've been using the castle bullets on my battery's for 3 years, no melting. They are a little short but pass the current easy with no heat. I'm now using the TQ Racing 18mm bullets listed here, they are good also!

Tires, how well they grip, your suspension setup, that's why they run sway bars to limit side to side movement

hit the jump full on...as you leave, release throttle...and then adjust midair. When it starts being tail heavy, hit the brakes/reverse.....if it goes nose heavy, hit the gas

the SC10 4x4 is a great jumping truck imho.....agile, light and quick in the air.

- 540 works *GREAT* in my Slash 4x4

550 1415 Castle
- bought a brand new Slipper system. Thrust bearing, washers, spring, cap, nut. etc. tightened everything up, slowly all.... the... way... down to a completely compressed spring and STILL absolutely no acceleration.
- 550 works *GREAT* in my Slash 4x4.

I've tested the motors and ESC possible suggestions by switching vehicles. *It is not the motor or ESC*

This thing spins for TEN PLUS FEET before it will go. I've fought with this for months. And honestly, i'm getting very tired of it. I understand this stupid basket thing solves that, but I find that rediculous honestly. (no offense)

Is there anything i'm missing? Brand new pads, I chopped and roughed up. new disks, scratched those up now too out of desperation. Motor is iiiiiice cold, Slipper disk is on fire.

first batch shipment of trucks? weren't some of the components not machined correctly? I run Castle 3800 and MMP and have not had a single issue with wit the slipper

Remove the spur gear and inner slipper hub, make sure the slipper thrust washer/slipper thrust spacer and slipper thrust bearing are installed correctly. I have 2 of these trucks, both first batch. One I left stock slipper, the other I have the clutch basket installed. while the one with the clutch basket launches harder, the all stock one does not start slipping til the end of a 15 minute moto, and I'm not anywhere near fully compressed, no added washers under the spring. I use both the 1410 and the 1415 on these trucks, geared 16/62 all the way to 22/58 on the 1415. Also make sure the inner slipper hub bronze bushing p/n 91092 in installed in the inner slipper hub. Good luck!

also, take a picture looking down from above the truck with the slipper hubs/spur gear removed and post up the pic. We'll figure it out!

using the clicker makes it less sensitive to brake input for ThunderbirdJunkie. He's usually nose-low, though, and has to stab the throttle to level it out.

I saw a new top shaft design & slipper plate today .......

There's a pin on the shaft now
and
the slipper plate locks onto the pin like the old B-3 transmission.....
