If you don't want to use the optional 21-30 timing...try max 20*. If you want to use our setting...we were set at 23* on the green timing board.

I had a MMM motor 17.5T
I put the sensor on min (10°).
Run boosted class.
With same gearing and ESC settings of my comp v3 motor.
it gets way to hot after 2 min 80 deg
I run in belgium on large nitro tracks.
changed the esc (gt2 pro) settings way down.
It had nice speed out of the corner but lackt top speed.
After 2 min the temp was 36°
after 3min 45°
Then 2 rounds later (40 sec) without fading motor stopt and started smokking like hell and the temp was 120°.
So after 10 min run the motor was dead.

These motors are a torque based design now so gearing change from a V3 is a MUST.

Most motors when running with timing should not have mechanical timing added. If the MMM is a torque based motor like the LRP X12 then run standard timing on the motor. so with a +10 sensor board standard in the MMM i would turn it down to -10. For gearing, a torque based motor can take more gear try around 6.0 +/- .5. ESC timing, be easy at first, add a little a time until the motor temp rises or you have sufficient speed.
