It really doesn't take that long to make a chassis. The longest wait is for it to dry. You could start it one night and finish it up in the morning.

I used Losi thick ca and clamped it to a piece of aluminum and let it cure overnight. Then I made some carbon fiber pieces to brace it and added this in the morning.

+1 release an update package with extended chassis, big bores and be done with it. This would tie us over until the new car comes out.

Default vcs2 shock upgrade kit help!

Just got my shock kit in and am clueless on how to do this. Has blue foams and a black plastic do hicky. Is there a post or a thread that can help me out? And what weight do you run with em on a small indoor track?

I havent done the exact measurements, but it is ever so slightly long. I race tomorrow with a team AE driver and a Team Kyosho Driver, I can try and take spy pics of the B4.1, but I know I can take pics of the RB5 chassis, it is longer maybe 4mm longer, which puts it at almost the same length as the 22. If you look at the AE Team Drivers cars they are the same length as the 22. SO.... whatever the difference is front clip, to back clip on both cars is whats needed to get the correct length for the extended chassis.

It stillis here, the only people, and I mean THE ONLY people who can get as 22 to work without pushing like crazy are a-b team drivers and they arent talking about what they are doing to fix it. I can feel a major revision of the 22 coming out soon. I asked Frank Root about his car when I still was running a 22 and he said "we are testing alot of new parts". The car wasnt finished upon release, and wont be for some time to come.

I've driven a couple guys 22's at our track, and to be honest both have tons of turning without pushing..It doesn't take a Factory guy to put a decent setup on a car, although I do find you have to do a lot more refinements and tweaks to get it the way you want it compared to a B4.1. It does have a bad push problem out of the box though.

Go on the associated website and rake a look at the manual for a tc5/6. They use the bladder shocks. I dont know if you would want to change the oil though.
