Damn, you're lucky. I've been waiting 3 weeks for a set of outdrives! Called twice, and emailed twice. Each time they claim they were sent and are sending more. If they all ever show up, I should have 4 different set of 'em!

Had the same problem with several TC6 parts, with the same communication chain. Took FOREVER to get replacements. In fact, the last time it took so long that I finally broke down and bought what I needed from my LHS. The 'replacements' never showed up for that issue.

Personally, I suggest the Tekin RX8 (no heat issues - even without the fan!!) I choose the LRP 5.5 550 motor, but there are a ton of options.. again, check out the thread above for tons of info...
+1 for the RX8. I had no choice for the SCTE. No other speedo is reliable enough to push 9lbs of metal and plastic around the track. The SC10 is a about 3-4 lbs lighter though. Good luck with the SC10

Almost everyone at OC/RC who had either an RB5 or a B4.1 have sold off their Losi's and have gone back to what they had before. The Losi is good for a few weeks, then as things start to wear out (and i mean wear out quick) they become completely unmanageable. Plus their big bore shocks are terrible compaired to the Kyoshos. Hope the new AE big bores coming along with the extended chassis are of a much better quality then the Losi's.

Please tell us more about this, since your in the holy land of RC. I have seen the modified chassis's, but are they coming with a new one? Have you seen the big bores?

No, but I have seen the team drivers here running the extended chassis, and boy is the car more stable, even without big bores, some drivers were testing the Yokomo Big Bores that come with their new BMAX kit with very good results. It basically just makes the car an RB5.

The RB5 is longer than the B4?

I'm in the process of doing a cut down T4.1 chassis. I just need a way to do it cleanly, I was thinking of taking it to a machine shop with a water jet to achieve the clean cut.

I used a band saw and took a sanding block to it and cleaned it up. Always came out good for me.

Thats not the same as running a longer chassis. now you are changing dogbone angles and im sure other things as well.

This has already been done extensively and will yield a horribly handling car. Stick to the longer chassis.

yeah , its not perfect , but the lap times we are experiencing say its a bit faster... No custom chassis work , can have a set of arms trimmed & installed in a hour .
