Default Need help with my Mini E-revo pleasee

so when it drives everything seems ok but if i hold the "merv" in my hand and give it throttle it works all the way up untill full throttle even if i am a hair off full throttle its fine but at full throttle it seems like its bouncing off a rev limiter like in a car no clue whats up
Also im having some problems using my new 3s 1800 Mah lipo i keep getting "thermal shutdown' no matter what i try any tips?

Thanks

You changed the pinion UP TWO TEETH!! GAHH, that's way too much for 3S!! It's probably the tires ballooning making it be a little wobbly and bouncy, then.
