No, hes saying he didn't think the 22 steered very well. The shame is, box stock setup is designed to make the car push... lots of people dumping the car because they don't know how to set one up. The 22 steers like a champ if you know how to set it up.

I have a friend that just made the jump to the 22. It has been tough at first because it is a new platform and it takes some time to get it dialed in. I can my my B4.1 push like a barge or spin out every corner... it is all in th setup. I will stick with my B4.1 for now. Drives great and I don't feel I get beat because of a different chassis ever.

the team kit setup on the b4.1 ft works so perfect on the 2 tracks i raced on which are both totally different.obviously tire change and maybe lighter shock oil for the smaller outdoor track but no major changes.. And thats actually smart to make a stock car push, i feel its easier to drive for somebody new to the hobby or car.

Where's the other track you race at while LIR is closed? I race at Gallimods in Baldwin Place (just north of the Bronx) and Critters every other Saturday in Jersey.

I use Vin Nocella's setup and just change the tires.

I've got a Savox 4096 which I believe is nearly identical to the 1258 and I don't have cogging issues. I've got an MMP with a 5700kV motor. Bought a Novak glitchbuster but haven't needed it yet. Check out the MMP thread. They've talked about cogging with higher current draw servos quite a bit.

They are strong and fast servos, for an amazing price.... so, if you are very budget minded (or budget limited), they are a no-brainer. If you have a little more depth to your pocketbook, I would look elsewhere as they really tax the power system. Some people have no issues, but some people do. Me? can't get me away from futaba BLS servos. They are more expensive (almost double), but they are lower power consumption, stronger, better built, and look better to boot

Do it comes down to budget.

They work fine as long as you're using a legit receiver/ESC. If not, get a glitchbuster capacitor.

I need a little setup help. I have been struggling with clearing a jump section at our track and I am not sure what to do... I need more distance by a foot or two... This is just our club track so not a ton of people to reference at the track and the ones that are clearing it are using a 22.

This is 17.5 with open speedo so I cannot just throw a bigger motor at it

front
1-O
1-A with 2 washers
0 toe
-1 camber
axle middle
30 degree caster
2 bump steer

Rear
1-I
1-B with 1 washer using C hubs and ground down ubrace
-1 camber
medium wheel base
3.5 degree toe
2 anti squat

I have 25mm ride height all around and a 6" wing with 5mm lip
brown springs front #1 piston 30 weight oil with 3 limiters
Kyosho dark yellow rear #2 piston 27.5 weight with 2 limiters
