Is the plug in the head supposed to be a little loose until it gets about halfway? I am talking about werks plugs in a werks head. It tightens up at the towards the end

Yes, they should thread in with little to no resistance until they are almost snug. If they feel tight or take force to turn right off of the bat stop because you might be cross threading it!

oh no, i would never crossthread. Was just curious because the plug seems to have some play before it bottoms out.

Man you would have to try pretty hard to cross thread a glow plug

There is a shipment actualy en-route to them now! I would think that they should be getting it in the next 3-4 days. So if you don't already have an order in place I'd just stick a backorder inthe system and it should be en-route to you in 4-5 days. Hope this helps!

Does anyone know is the orion 2013 is the same as the werks racing? I already have a 2013 from orion so I really dont want to spend another chunk of money on a pipe if I dont have to.

Thanks

The only thing I haven't tried is soaking it in antifreeze in a crockpot -- but I hear that works well. Easy off and wire brushes will just destroy your finish.

The best thing you can do is not run byrons fuel. That stuff leaves a residue that is basically perm, especially if you run 11% lube -- greif.

I use the soft pink soap brillo pad. This brillo wont scratch or take the shine from the pipe.

yes antifreeze and a crock pot from the dollar store... soak it for 24 hours
and youll be good to go. make sure you keep the lid on it and do it out side.
also watch for pets when dumping it out...
you can reuse the antifreeze 2-3 times also..pipes look like new when finished
