If you're running the 3A/3T stock plates or hinge pin holders as there called, you don't need the LRC pin holders. The LRC is adjustable plates with a lower roll-center than the older adjustable plates or first edition adjustable plates that they made.
I really don't see the need to change the anti-squat or rear toe on the truck or the buggy so I run the stock plates. The only way I can improve my Losi is by driving better.

What is your current setup?
My current setup is mostly standart setup only changes I have:
Front droop: 106 mm
Rear droop: 126 mm
Front ride height: 36 mm
Rear ride height: 39 mm

For truggy, your ride height should be 39mm front and 42mm rear. Try that out and see how it helps. If you are still kicking up then raise the front and rear by 1mm. Also make sure you are measuring your ride height with your truggy fully loaded, full gas tank, fully charged batt., body on, etc. After you get your ride height dialed, adjust your camber settings.

The truck is as close to being money as I think you will ever get it by running the stock setup. The optional V2 rear shock tower is a decent investment too. By placing the shock in the outside hole of the tower will allow the truck to rotate a little faster.
By all means, the Losi is very critical on ride-height. You must pay special attention to that area after every heat.

So when running a inclined 10 or 12 front end you would want the stock rear plates?

You want the stock rear plates or the LRC adjustable plates. What you don't want is the original adjustable plates.

I just ordered an 8ight 2.0 truggy roller from amain. I already have an 8ight 2.0 buggy and have 2 engines, an os VZ-B speed worlds engine and a standard
VZ-B v-spec. I have both a JP-3 and an losi RE-10 pipe. Which should i put in my new Truggy? Or, should i just order a werks B5 and a new pipe? Is that a decent truggy engine? I would prefer to not buy a new engine for a month or 2 so i can put my money toward new tires. Any thoughts?

Questions?? Tires/Wheels for rough terrains (not tracks)

Hey guys,

We do not have acces to a "proper" track in here (Montreal Canada) and we have to drive quite a while to get to one.
therefore we tend to set up a temp track in various area. However, this is a mix of dirt, stones etc... Never the same, and never nice

I am looking for some "alternate" tires for the T 2.

Pro-Line released a 3.8 for the badland and I was wondering if you had a wheel to suggest for this one. My T 2 is of the RTR kind, and mostly stock (hey, with Drake's basic setting I am more than happy, why changing what makes me smile, and win

As I tend to bash with my Revo, and it's also 17mm hex, I was wondering if anyone would have a suggestion that would fit both...
For now I have the RPM Revolver, the PL VTR 4"0... but if any suggestion as well as information regarding offset... I think that T 2 is half offset is it right?

Thanks a lot for any answer/suggestions for such a combo.

Cheers!

Can something like RPM Revolver fit on the T 2? Other suggestions?

I know the PL Badland is a sweet bash tire So is the Bowtie. You should be able to mount them to the PL LRP rims. It a 3.8 inch rim. Also the stock Losi rims would fit. I believ they are 3.7 inches. You could also use the JC Half-Ups or the AKA wheels. All of them are pretty close in size.
Does the Revo use a 1/2 inch offset? It its a zero offset you can swap tires all day but I know the Losi is a Zero. That would be the only concern.

Who here runs a steel flywheel?
Do the alluminum shoes eat up where they pivot?
I run the alluminum flywheel and every once in a while after about 20 minutes of running, I will come off a long strait and the shoes will hang up for a second. I have checked for burrs on the shoes and they are good put new springs in, checked/replaced bearings and the only thing I can see wrong is the flywheel get kindof chewed up where the shoes pivot.
I am thinking a steel flywheel will prevent/ remidy this.

Not sure about the Revo, I have to check... I have basically used different wheels, ended up with wide offset (more stable truck).

I'll give all this a look tonight (I also have a truc clean up night ahead!).
